TechFlow, April 5 — According to Jinshi Data, on April 4, MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle said U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent can no longer tolerate the Trump administration's "absurd (reciprocal) tariff calculation method" and intends to resign. On the show "Morning Joe," Ruhle said: "My sources tell me that Bessent is seen as an outlier within the Trump administration. As far as Trump’s inner circle is concerned, Trump isn't close to Bessent and doesn't listen to him." Ruhle added: "Someone told me he's looking for an exit, seeking a position at the Federal Reserve. Because in recent days, he's really damaging his credibility and reputation in the markets." Bessent has not yet responded to these reports.
