TechFlow, April 4 — Hybrid Layer2 project BOB (Build on Bitcoin) announced the successful integration of cross-chain interoperability protocol deBridge, making BOB the first Bitcoin Layer2 supported by deBridge.
deBridge is a secure interoperability layer for Web3 that enables decentralized transmission of arbitrary messages and values across different blockchains.
This integration establishes connections between BOB's ecosystem and over 20 EVM and non-EVM public blockchain ecosystems (including Solana, Berachain, Hyperliquid, Sonic, etc.), allowing users to seamlessly transfer assets and data across chains via deBridge. This unlocks new liquidity pathways for Bitcoin DeFi, breaks down barriers between the Bitcoin ecosystem and other public blockchains, and marks a significant step forward in building an interoperable ecosystem on Bitcoin.
