TechFlow news, on April 1, according to Jinshi Data, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink said in his annual letter published Monday that many people he has spoken with are nervous about an economic recession. Much of the concern stems from uncertainty surrounding the Trump administration's tariff policies. Fink wrote in the letter: "I’ve heard this from nearly everyone I’ve spoken with. Their anxiety about the economy exceeds anything in recent memory." Earlier this month, Fink stated in an interview: "The collective impact in the short term is that markets are pulling back. When talking to CEOs across the entire economy, they say the economy is weakening." However, in the annual letter, Fink struck a different tone, refraining from detailing the specific uncertainties widely felt in the financial world, instead highlighting the resilience of capital markets over their 400-year history.
