TechFlow News – On March 29, according to official announcements, Starpower, an energy DePIN network, has recently surpassed 100,000 device users. In collaboration with Apple and Google Home, Starpower has launched a unique reverse-integration solution for home power devices: users can now directly integrate smart home devices (such as smart lights, air conditioners, sockets, cameras, etc.) into the Starpower network without relying on authorized Starpower hardware. These devices become certified "energy nodes" and earn $STAR rewards. This breakthrough enables large-scale integration of household energy devices while significantly lowering the barrier for everyday users to participate in Web3 energy networks.
Starpower stated that it will gradually open integrations with other smart home ecosystems (such as Amazon Alexa, Tuya, etc.), and enhance device identification and scheduling precision through AI-powered analysis of electricity usage patterns.
"We’re connecting the devices around you to the future energy internet," said Darcy, co-founder of Starpower.
Notably, Starpower is the energy DePIN project with the largest user base globally. Its vision is to build a global, user-driven Virtual Power Plant (VPP) network, where every connected device can participate in energy data collection, demand response, supply-demand regulation, and receive $STAR incentives. By pioneering technology that bridges Web2 and Web3, Starpower aims to popularize Web3 energy networks with higher efficiency, lower costs, and broader coverage. Previously, Starpower raised $5 million in funding from investors including Alliance DAO, Framework Ventures, and Solana Ventures, and has partnered with top-tier global new energy equipment manufacturers to release devices covering power generation, storage, and consumption scenarios.
