TechFlow reported on March 20 that, according to Scam Sniffer monitoring, multiple phishing websites disguised as Microsoft Teams are spreading malware. These fake websites may lead to security risks such as data leaks, credential theft, session hijacking, and digital wallet fund theft.
Scam Sniffer提醒 users to verify the authenticity of the source before installing any software claiming to be from Microsoft Teams. Web3 users should be especially cautious, as such phishing attacks often aim to steal cryptocurrency wallet private keys. Once infected with the malware, users could suffer complete loss of their digital assets.
