TechFlow reports on March 19 that, according to Embers' monitoring, the previously noted Hyperliquid 50x leverage whale has changed its account name to "MELANIA" on the DeBank platform and verified its X account @qwatio. Currently, this trader still holds a 5x leveraged long position in MELANIA on Hyperliquid.
@qwatio stated in their pinned post: "ZachXBT's allegations are baseless speculation—disappointing/surprising. I wish he'd at least specify the so-called 'stolen funds.' At worst, we might have received minor ETH dusting attacks from scammers; our wallets have received thousands of transactions from fraudulent sources." The user also specifically added "Long MELANIA" at the end of the post.
Previous report: ZachXBT claimed on X that the recently popular "Hyperliquid 50x leverage whale" is actually a cybercriminal gambling with stolen funds.
