TechFlow news — On March 19, according to Citybiz, Via Science, a decentralized enterprise-grade data and identity protection company, has completed a $28 million Series B funding round led by Bosch Ventures, with participation from BMW i Ventures, MassMutual Ventures, and Sentinel Global.
The funds will accelerate the development of its highly secure, easy-to-deploy data and identity protection platform, which uses a decentralized, zero-trust architecture and has already passed rigorous testing by the U.S. Department of Defense. Via Science’s technology features decentralized identity management, end-to-end quantum-resistant encryption, and passwordless solutions, effectively addressing traditional cybersecurity challenges such as social engineering attacks and insider threats.
Colin Gounden, co-founder and CEO of Via Science, said the company’s platform is the world’s first military-grade Web3 data protection platform. As software-defined vehicles, robots, and edge devices become the norm, securing data flows has become critically important.
