TechFlow reports that on March 15, according to BlockSec Phalcon monitoring, the Web3 launchpad platform WebKeyDao was hacked, resulting in losses of approximately $730,000. The attacker exploited an unprotected function to purchase wkeyDao tokens at a low price and then profited by selling these tokens on decentralized exchanges.
Specifically, the attacker used the purchase function in the vulnerable contract to buy 230 wkeyDao tokens with 1,159 BUSD, then sold these tokens on a decentralized exchange for 13,167 BUSD, achieving nearly a 10-fold profit.
