TechFlow reported on March 13 that, according to Coinmarketcap data, the Altcoin Season Index is currently at 13, marking its lowest annual level since September 3, 2024, a significant drop from last month's 43.
The altcoin index has been steadily declining since reaching an annual high of 87 on December 4, 2024. The index indicates that over the past 90 days, only 13 out of the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap have outperformed Bitcoin in terms of gains.
