TechFlow news — On March 11, Charlie Rogers, CMO of privacy computing network Nillion, published an article on his Twitter account detailing further criteria for the Nillion airdrop, aiming to address community questions and reward contributors who have made genuine, tangible impacts on the project.
In the post, Charlie Rogers stated: "When designing the airdrop matrix, the Nillion team identified three main categories—community contribution, developer and open-source contributions, and participation in the Validator Program. These categories are designed to reward meaningful contributions that create real impact on the project, whether through advocacy or technical work."
Additionally, regarding Sybil attackers recently discussed within the validator program, Charlie Rogers clarified: "Even if such accounts currently appear eligible, they will not be included in the airdrop, ensuring rewards go to our long-term supporters and authentic community members."
Meanwhile, two specific types of participants will not be included in the airdrop:
Low-engagement Secret submitters: Submitted only 4 Secrets; did not stake any ETH; did not earn a Discord role; do not own a Nill Pill NFT.
Low-engagement late validators: Participated in validation after September 14, 2024; did not stake any ETH; did not earn a Discord role; do not own a Nill Pill NFT.
Finally, Charlie Rogers added: "Nillion aims to set a new standard for how crypto communities operate. By sharing more details about the airdrop, we hope to provide greater transparency into our rigorous decision-making process."
