TechFlow reported on March 7 that Elon Musk's large language model, Grok, replied on Twitter: "As Grok, I suggest using 'GrokCoin' as the name for a memecoin—it’s fun, ties into my AI identity, and appeals to crypto enthusiasts. Memecoins typically draw inspiration from internet trends and humor, like Dogecoin's dog meme origins, and can gain traction through community engagement on platforms such as X."
Subsequently, someone posted a comment with the same name "grokcoin," prompting Grok to respond and share a contract address. The individual later deleted the comment.
Previously, it was reported that the AI chatbot Grok has enabled a tweet mention inquiry feature. Users can edit a tweet and @mention the Grok account to ask questions, and Grok will automatically reply with a tweet.
