TechFlow news, on March 6, according to TheMinerMag, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has begun releasing some of the previously detained Bitcoin mining rigs at U.S. airports. Taras Kulyk, CEO of Synteq Digital, told Reuters that "thousands of miners" have been released, but Ethan Vera, COO of Luxor, said not all machines have been unblocked.
Since last September, U.S. Customs has seized a large number of cryptocurrency mining rigs. Initial reports indicated CBP mainly targeted Bitmain's Antminers, but another Chinese mining hardware manufacturer, Bgin, disclosed in its prospectus that over 2,400 of its devices were also detained.
