Collins stated that the United States must adapt to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cryptocurrency to remain competitive within the global financial system.
Collins emphasized that digital assets—including Bitcoin, Ethereum, altcoins, and even meme coins—are widely used globally but still lack sufficient recognition in Congress. By accepting crypto donations, he aims to help eliminate the stigma surrounding the crypto industry and encourage more lawmakers to support the rapidly growing digital economy.
