TechFlow reported on March 4 that, according to Bloomberg, the Tokyo Financial Exchange plans to complete preparations for its Bitcoin futures listing application within this month. Sources indicated that the exchange could begin Bitcoin futures trading as early as fiscal year 2025, potentially making it the first exchange in Asia to offer such services.
The move by the Tokyo Financial Exchange is seen as a proactive response to current market trends, aiming to meet growing investment demand. If the application is approved smoothly, Bitcoin futures trading is expected to commence within fiscal year 2025, offering investors additional trading options and risk management tools.
