TechFlow news - On March 3, according to an official blog post, Binance recently co-hosted its first in-person cross-border law enforcement training session with Gulf Binance, its joint venture in Thailand. The event brought together law enforcement officials from various countries and regions across the Asia-Pacific to exchange knowledge and enhance professional capabilities, harnessing blockchain technology to combat and dismantle illicit activities.
The one-day training program gathered investigation experts from Binance, law enforcement portal Kodex, and leading blockchain intelligence platforms Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, and Merkle Science, alongside representatives from law enforcement agencies, to share experiences and practical insights on handling complex cases involving crypto assets.
The event attracted over 120 speakers and participants from various organizations, including Thailand's Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the World Economic Forum's Cybercrime Atlas initiative, as well as law enforcement officers from Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Singapore, and Australia.
