TechFlow news: On March 3, Binance founder CZ posted that football star Ronaldinho's STAR10 token is exclusively issued on the BNB Chain, and any identically named tokens on other blockchains are counterfeit—users should beware of scams.
CZ also stated that although he has been a fan of Ronaldinho since 2005 and appreciates the decision to launch STAR10 on BNB Chain, neither BNB Chain nor its affiliates have any commercial relationship with Ronaldinho. He emphasized that this statement does not constitute an endorsement of the token.
He further clarified that meme tokens are highly volatile, with significantly declining trading volumes recently, representing substantial investment risks.
