TechFlow reports that at the panel discussion on "China-U.S. Digital Asset Trends Under Trump's New Policies" during the "Event: Crypto 2025: Decoding the New Era of Digital Economy Reshaped by AI, MEME, and ETFs" forum, Hoi Chan, Head of Institutional Products at OSL, predicted that Hong Kong's tokenized fund industry will accelerate its development in 2025. Blockchain technology will be widely adopted in traditional financial products, enhancing transparency and liquidity. Hong Kong’s characteristics of "strong regulatory certainty and technology neutrality" are positioning it as a safe haven for global capital to establish Web3 footholds.
Hoi Chan noted that Hong Kong’s policy support and robust regulatory framework have boosted market confidence, attracting global investors—especially as cross-border investment barriers decrease. Leveraging its status as an international financial center, Hong Kong is expected to play a pivotal role in the digital asset space.
