TechFlow reported on February 20 that according to the OKX Chinese community, the OKX Web3 security team recently received multiple reports from users whose assets were stolen. Investigations revealed that all affected users had previously downloaded mining software named "Bom," which was found to contain suspicious code capable of uploading users' photo albums.
To prevent similar risks, OKX reminds users to avoid downloading software from untrusted sources, including so-called "reward farming tools."
