TechFlow reported on February 20, according to The Block, blockchain data shows new movements of funds stolen from the Phemex exchange.
A report released by Swiss blockchain analytics firm Global Ledger revealed that hackers have transferred over 2,080 ETH (approximately $6 million) to 14 new addresses, with portions of the funds subsequently funneled into the mixer Tornado Cash. The main attacker wallet now holds fewer than 4,000 ETH.
It is understood that the hackers employed multiple hops and interactions across various protocols to move the funds, including using the Across Protocol cross-chain bridge, Wintermute, and THORChain.
Previous report, Phemex was hacked for approximately $69.1 million in crypto assets.
