TechFlow news, according to CoinDesk, social investment platform eToro has obtained an EU MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) license from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, enabling it to offer cryptocurrency trading and custody services across 30 countries in the European Economic Area, including the 27 EU member states, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.
eToro joins Bitpanda, OKX, and Crypto.com as another platform to secure a MiCA license. The Israel-based trading platform is accelerating its global expansion—previously obtaining a New York license in 2023 and joining the UK's cryptocurrency registration list in 2022.
