TechFlow reported on February 18 that Abstract Chain developer 0xBeans issued a warning stating that some Abstract users' assets had been attacked, but officials confirmed this was not a security vulnerability at the Abstract Global Wallet (AGW) network level.
0xBeans indicated that the security incident may have originated from the specific application Cardex. The team is currently conducting an in-depth investigation into the exact cause and will release updates on the incident and detailed loss information as soon as possible. Subsequently, cybersecurity monitoring platform Cyvers Alerts issued a warning strongly advising users to immediately suspend any interaction with the Cardex application.
