TechFlow reports that on February 18, Jupiter co-founder meow announced that Ben, project lead of the decentralized exchange Meteora, has chosen to resign. Meow stated that while he has full confidence in Ben's character, Ben's insufficient judgment and lack of focus on core aspects of the project over recent months are unacceptable for someone in a leadership role.
Regarding recent controversies, meow reiterated that neither Jupiter nor Meteora has engaged in any insider trading or financial misconduct. He noted that the company has engaged the prominent law firm Fenwick & West as an independent third party to conduct an investigation and issue a report. He also emphasized that JUP token has consistently maintained high standards of transparency, being the only major protocol to provide detailed explanations for each token type across three audits, with no over-the-counter transactions ever conducted.
