TechFlow news, February 17 — According to an official announcement, Tether has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of the Republic of Guinea to collaborate in the fields of blockchain and peer-to-peer technology. The partnership aims to drive economic growth in Guinea and position the country as a leader in digital transformation across Africa.
Under the MoU, Tether will collaborate with Guinea’s City of Scientific Innovation (CSIG) to launch blockchain education initiatives, supporting the nation's "Innovation City" program. Djiba Diakité, Director of the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic of Guinea, stated that this collaboration is a key component of the country’s Simandou 2040 initiative and will help Guinea achieve technological sovereignty.
