TechFlow news — On February 17, Ben Chow, co-founder of Meteora, posted on social platform X to address allegations related to LIBRA. Ben Chow stated that neither Meteora nor he personally has ever privately received or managed any tokens, nor participated in any off-chain transactions.
Ben Chow revealed that he had recommended Hayden Davis from Kelsier Ventures—based on their positive collaboration during the M3M3 project—as a deployer and market maker to several projects, including MELANIA. Regarding the LIBRA project, although he learned about it weeks ago through Hayden, Meteora's role, like with other projects, was limited to technical support. The Meteora team did not participate in project operations, nor did they purchase, receive, or manage any tokens.
Additionally, Ben Chow emphasized that, for confidentiality reasons, Meteora enforces strict information control around token launches, with only a small number of engineering staff gaining access to relevant details just minutes before launch.
