TechFlow news, February 16 — According to Protos, Max Burwick, managing partner of law firm Burwick Law currently suing pump.fun, expressed confusion over the launch of the Dogshit2 memecoin in a recent interview with Dancing Eddie, and denied any affiliation between his firm and the token. Burwick stated: "Our law firm has no connection, endorsement, or ownership whatsoever with the Dogshit2 token or any related assets." He also declined to reveal who specifically deployed the token.
Dogshit2 was previously included in Burwick Law's litigation evidence documents against Pump Fun, which showed details of the token's creation process, sparking speculation that the law firm might have been involved in launching the token during the lawsuit. However, Burwick repeatedly avoided questions during the interview, stating he "could not comment" and questioning public interest in the matter.
In the meantime, prominent cryptocurrency analyst Wirelyss accused Burwick Law of launching the token via "off-chain" means and shifting responsibility onto the first buyer of the token. Burwick has not provided further response to these allegations.
