TechFlow reports, on February 15, Julian, co-founder of KIP Protocol, posted on social media stating that Project Libertad was initiated in response to Argentine President Milei's original tweet hours earlier, aiming to promote Argentina's economic development by funding small projects and local businesses. Julian emphasized that all SOL raised by the project remains on-chain and no transfers have occurred.
Regarding project details, Julian stated that KIP Protocol's primary role in this initiative is assisting with fund distribution to Argentine businesses, not handling token trading or acting as a market maker. The LIBRA token is being launched via a single-sided liquidity pool without any form of private sale. The team has committed that all funds will be strictly used within the defined objectives of Project Libertad and will be transparently disclosed. A more detailed project execution plan will be released later.
