TechFlow news, on February 14, according to CoinTelegraph, Ethereum core developers reached a consensus during the "All Core Devs" meeting on February 13 to accelerate the deployment of future protocol upgrades. Nixo Rokish, a member of the Ethereum Foundation's protocol support team, said that based on the Pectra retrospective report, there is strong community support for accelerating the fork pace, which means reducing delays in upgrade scope and providing feedback more proactively.
The upcoming Pectra upgrade, scheduled for April, will become the largest upgrade in Ethereum's history, including up to 20 Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), covering enhancements to crypto wallet functionality and data availability expansion. Tim Beiko, researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, stated that the Pectra system contract will go live on the mainnet on February 17.
The development team has also set a final deadline of April 10 for the Fusaka upgrade, which primarily focuses on improving transaction packaging processes. Developers must submit EIP proposals by March 13, and the community needs to express opinions on included proposals by March 27.
