TechFlow news, on February 13, according to CoinDesk, Bitcoin mining firm Riot Platforms announced the appointment of three new board members to advance the company's strategic positioning in artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC).
The newly appointed directors are Michael Turner, former Global Head of Real Estate at OMERS, Canada’s largest pension fund; Jaime Leverton, former CEO of Hut 8 Mining; and Doug Mouton, a data center development expert from Microsoft and Meta.
Meanwhile, Riot has engaged investment banks Evercore and Northland Capital Markets to conduct discussions with potential AI and HPC partners.
