TechFlow news, according to The Block, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) confirmed on February 11 that it has accepted the spot Solana ETF applications from four institutions: 21Shares, Bitwise, Canary Capital, and VanEck.
The Cboe BZX Exchange has submitted a related rule change proposal. On the same day, Franklin Templeton registered the Franklin Solana Trust in Delaware, positioning it to potentially become the fifth applicant. Previously, Bloomberg analysts estimated a 70% chance of approval for a Solana ETF.
