TechFlow reports on February 10 that SlowMist founder Yu Xian revealed suspicious signs regarding the CAR token announced by the President of the Central African Republic. The official website domain car.meme was registered on Namecheap on February 6 and is currently inaccessible. On-chain data shows the project creator's funds originated from Binance, with approximately 80% of the CAR tokens concentrated in six addresses linked to the creator.
In addition, official website links for the CAR token cited by certain trading platforms were found to carry malware; specifically, the site marked as official by GMGN may cause users' devices to become infected with viruses. Yu Xian warned investors to remain cautious of potential fraud risks due to severe lack of project transparency and to avoid blindly following market trends.
