TechFlow news, on February 8, according to Cointelegraph, Rostin Behnam, former chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), officially left office on February 7, and President Trump has not yet nominated a successor.
Behnam announced on January 7 that he would step down as chairman on the day of Trump's inauguration, after which Caroline Pham was appointed acting chair.
Currently, the five-member commission is divided between Republicans and Democrats. Although there are reports suggesting Trump may nominate former CFTC commissioner Brian Quintenz, the White House has not issued any official statement.
