TechFlow reports, on February 7, CoinMarketCap data showed that the Altcoin Season Index is currently at 32, down 21 points from last week. This index indicates that over the past 90 days, approximately 32 out of the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap have outperformed Bitcoin in terms of gains.
Notably, the CMC Altcoin Season Index is a real-time indicator used to determine whether the current crypto market is entering an altcoin-dominated season. The index is based on the performance of the top 100 altcoins relative to Bitcoin over the past 90 days.
