TechFlow news, on February 2, Binance co-founder He Yi stated in a post that Binance Labs has been renamed Yzi Labs and will operate independently, led by Ella Zhang and directly managed by CZ. The lab has invested in thousands of projects, but only a very small percentage of these have been listed on Binance. From day one, Labs has been a completely separate team with independent decision-making from Binance. There are strict firewalls in place for Binance listings. However, it's undeniable that the amount of tokens a project is willing to allocate for Binance user airdrops may serve as one of the reference indicators.
Staff information at Labs, publicly disclosed investment project details, and names of other market investors are largely public market information. We welcome anyone to provide evidence if there are any records of bribery or corruption, and encourage public oversight. If any Binance or Binance-affiliated employee demands money, equity, or tokens from any project or partner, we will ensure they go to jail and are disgraced. Reports regarding Labs can be sent directly to CZ or Ella; reports concerning Binance or He Yi are welcome to be sent to Binance’s publicly available internal audit email. Reward for whistleblowing remains effective.
As a BNB holder, I am a practitioner of "value investing." I firmly believe that whether in entrepreneurship or investment, value creates price—and everyone has their own understanding of what value means. We welcome evidence: any evidence can help bring wrongdoers to justice and keep some integrity in this industry. At the same time, we welcome criticism—it helps us reflect.
