TechFlow news — On January 30, Shaw, founder of ElizaOS (formerly ai16z), posted on X that while the v2 version is still under development in a private research repository, the team will release several key features to ease the transition and address pain points in the v1 version.
The new features mainly include: a plugin registration system enabling plugins to be compatible without waiting for the core team to merge code; moving all model provider code from the core into plugins, allowing model providers to integrate immediately; and relocating roles into memory so agents can update their personalities via evaluators. These features are expected to be released before next weekend.
