TechFlow news — On January 27, crypto payment solutions provider Alchemy Pay announced it has obtained a Digital Currency Exchange license from Australia's Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC). This license will allow the company to offer fiat-to-crypto payment services in the Australian market and establish partnerships with local payment service providers.
Alchemy Pay CMO Ailona Tsik stated that the company is advancing toward its goal of securing 20 global regulatory licenses. It has already obtained a FINTRAC license in Canada, money transmitter licenses (MTL) in eight U.S. states, and is currently applying for licenses in key markets including Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, and Europe. The latest approval further strengthens its compliance framework across the Asia-Pacific region.
