TechFlow news, January 27 — According to Cryptonews, Russia's largest power supplier, Rosseti, announced plans to enter the cryptocurrency mining business, aiming to operate as a hosting provider for mining infrastructure, with a focus on power centers that currently have low utilization rates.
The company stated that this initiative will help improve the utilization of power facilities and increase corporate revenue.
Andrei Ryumin, head of the Rosseti Group, has sent a letter to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin requesting approval to coordinate the deployment of mining centers across regions in Russia.
