TechFlow reports that on January 26, on-chain investigator ZachXBT disclosed an alleged major hacking incident on the SUI network on December 12, 2024, during which approximately 6.27 million SUI (worth about $29 million) were stolen.
The attacker subsequently bridged the stolen funds to the Ethereum network via Bridgers and deposited them in batches into Tornado Cash for coin mixing. Due to current limitations of the Sui block explorer, fully tracking this theft has proven challenging.
