TechFlow news, January 26 — According to TheBlock, Matt Huang, co-founder of crypto venture capital firm Paradigm, along with several executives, took to social media calling for faster development of Ethereum. They suggested that Ethereum should have more than one major upgrade per year and opposed the view that decentralization should be protected by slowing down or "hardening" core protocol development.
In addition, they proposed several "non-controversial improvements," including repricing L1 opcodes, enhancing user experience for batch transactions, and further developing rollups. Moreover, Paradigm emphasized its work on the Reth client—currently holding 2% market share among Ethereum execution clients—and invited the research community to collaborate on prototyping new features.
