TechFlow news: Ethereum L2 network Taiko has announced a strategic partnership with OpenZeppelin to develop the next-generation Based Rollup stack, elevating Based Rollups to a new level. Key objectives include addressing challenges in scalability, interoperability, and composability.
Based Rollups are a set of L2 solutions that directly leverage the ordering capabilities of L1 blockchains, enabling seamless integration by fully utilizing the decentralization, activity, and security features of the L1.
The concept of Based Rollups was proposed in March 2023 by Ethereum researcher Justin Drake, aiming to overcome limitations faced by existing rollup solutions.
