TechFlow reports, according to official information, to further support the Ethereum ecosystem, OKX Web3 Wallet will support the EIP-7702 upgrade immediately upon implementation, with the upgrade expected to be completed in April 2025.
Notably, EIP-7702 is an Ethereum Improvement Proposal that enables externally owned accounts (EOAs) to execute smart contract code, thereby achieving account abstraction. It will introduce more flexible transaction methods such as batch transactions and gas sponsorship, enhancing user experience. Furthermore, EIP-7702 blurs the boundary between EOAs and smart contract accounts, providing greater flexibility for the Ethereum ecosystem.
