TechFlow news — On January 23, U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis announced on social media that she has been appointed Chair of the Senate Banking Committee's Subcommittee on Digital Assets.
She also stated, "Digital assets are the future. If the United States wants to maintain its global leadership in financial innovation, Congress needs to urgently pass bipartisan legislation to establish a comprehensive legal framework for digital assets and strengthen the dollar through a strategic Bitcoin reserve. I am deeply honored that many of my colleagues have placed their trust in me to serve as Chair of the Senate Banking Subcommittee on Digital Assets. I look forward to advancing bipartisan legislation that will reach President Trump’s desk this year, securing our financial future."
