TechFlow reports, on January 23, according to BUSINESS INSIDER, billionaire Mark Cuban said on social platform X that he is considering launching a meme token similar to $Trump. However, unlike the Trump token, all proceeds from token sales would be donated to the U.S. Treasury to help pay down the national debt.
Cuban also stated that the tokens launched by the Trumps could harm the cryptocurrency industry. When asked whether he would actually launch such a token, Cuban replied, "Of course not." Notably, Cuban has long supported cryptocurrencies as a disruptive technology, but focuses more on applications like smart contracts rather than token prices.
