TechFlow reports on January 23 that Layer2 project Metis announced a strategic transformation, unveiling the ReGenesis initiative to comprehensively expand into AI infrastructure. This plan will focus on addressing three core demands of AI development: millisecond-level low-latency processing capabilities, decentralized computing and storage solutions, and data availability frameworks.
The first incubated project, LazAI Network, will build a trusted AI asset network through verifiable computing technology, personal DAOs (iDAO), Data Anchored Tokens (DAT), and a generative data marketplace. Metis stated it will launch more innovative solutions in its subsequent technical roadmap, aiming to become a core component of decentralized AI infrastructure.
