TechFlow news, January 22 — According to Bloomberg, Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson said in an interview during the World Economic Forum in Davos that the incoming Trump administration will work toward integrating traditional finance (TradeFi) with cryptocurrencies and establishing a clearer regulatory framework. Johnson emphasized that clear regulations would reduce operating costs and unlock the innovation potential of blockchain technology.
Johnson pointed out that blockchain technology will play a significant role in ETFs and mutual funds in the future. She positioned blockchain as an efficient underlying technology and programming language, expecting these traditional financial products to eventually be built on blockchain infrastructure. Additionally, she compared today's cryptocurrency market to the internet era, believing industry consolidation will bring cost advantages.
