TechFlow news — On January 22, according to the New York Post, the Trump administration's newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) launched its first reform action on January 21 by shutting down the Chief Diversity Officers Executive Committee (CDOEC), a body under the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). The committee was previously responsible for implementing diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) strategies across the federal government.
DOGE head Elon Musk confirmed the move on social media with the post "It begins." According to senior White House officials, the OMB and OPM will coordinate with agencies to terminate related DEI initiatives.
