TechFlow News — On January 21, early Ethereum developer Eric Conner posted on X stating that as Vitalik Buterin gradually steps back, the Ethereum Foundation (EF) has become increasingly opaque and disconnected from the community. He pointed out that EF currently exhibits an "anti-victory and competitive mindset," causing many community members to question whether they should remain involved.
Eric emphasized that leadership, culture, and community are all crucial, but currently EF tends to focus more on "good intentions" and emotional concerns rather than understanding the community's demands for change. As an early participant in the Ethereum ecosystem and co-founder of EthHub, Eric said he may have already lost his passion for Ethereum, yet still hopes to see it succeed.
