TechFlow reports, on January 21, MetaMask posted on X stating: "Co-founder Dan Finlay's Farcaster account was compromised and used to promote a Meme coin. We have contacted the Farcaster team to assist in investigating this incident."
According to SlowMist's Yu Xian, the Meme coin has since been rug-pulled. The creator's address likely received its initial funds from a mixing service and has already profited over 1,000 SOL.
