TechFlow reported on January 21 that Linea has announced an additional witch attack analysis specifically targeting LXP holders. The analysis identified approximately 476,000 addresses exhibiting clear signs of witch attack activity. These addresses will be added to the existing blacklist and will not be eligible to receive the LXP token airdrop.
Users who believe they have been incorrectly flagged can submit an appeal via a feedback form within the next two weeks, until January 29, 2025, at 23:59 UTC. Linea stated this is the final planned witch attack review, and the definitive blacklist will be updated in mid-February 2025.
