TechFlow reported on January 20 that the Trump family's cryptocurrency project, World Liberty Financial (WLFI), announced the successful completion of its public token sale. All 20 billion tokens were sold out at a price of $0.015 per token, raising a total of $300 million, valuing the project at $1.5 billion.
As a governance token, WLFI will be used for voting on platform development decisions. The initially issued tokens will be locked for 12 months. According to the token distribution plan, 63% of the supply was allocated for public sale, 17% for user incentives, and 20% distributed to the team.
