TechFlow reported on January 19 that Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated on the social platform Warpcast that the Ethereum Foundation (EF) is undergoing a significant restructuring of its leadership, a process that has been ongoing for nearly a year. Some changes have already been implemented and made public, while others are still in progress.
The main objectives of this restructuring include: enhancing technical expertise within EF's leadership; strengthening two-way communication with ecosystem participants, including individual and institutional users, application developers, wallets, and L2s; bringing in new talent and improving execution capabilities; increasing support for application developers to ensure users' fundamental rights such as privacy, open-source access, and censorship resistance at the application layer; and expanding the use of decentralized and privacy-preserving technologies across areas including payments and fund management.
